"Thanks to the encouragement of many family, friends, and colleagues, I have decided to run for the office of U.S. Senate for the state of Montana."

"My concerns regarding issues such as illegal immigration, National Security, and a growing debt being placed on future generations, has left me no longer willing to leave the future to career politicians more worried about re-election than solving some of the central challenges of our time, I decided it was time to stand up for change and begin planning my campaign."
