The race for Public Service Commission is an important one. The two candidates running on the Republican ticket have widely different backgrounds.
Tony O’Donnell is a really nice guy, but in my opinion, does not have the experience to be a commissioner. His most recent jobs have both ended with him being terminated per his comments to me. The jobs were a night stocker for a home improvement store and as an operator in a call center. He also performs secret shopping, which I am assuming is the basis for labeling himself a business consultant.
Kirk Bushman, the current commissioner, has an engineering degree with a solid work history. Bushman is very analytical, works tirelessly to understand the issues and makes balanced, educated decisions.
A former PSC employee stated to me that Commissioner Bushman is respected by PSC staff. He also stated that Bushman is very professional in his dealings, is very approachable and wants to understand all sides of issues.
Commissioner Bushman is the only choice for common sense leadership on the commission.
